And it is the Pinacotheque de Paris' first Asian outpost.

Paris’ largest private art museum Pinacotheque de Paris will be opening its first outpost outside of Europe, in Singapore. Slated for a May 30 opening, the museum will be housed in the newly-revamped Fort Canning Arts Centre and show works by art legends including Vincent van Gogh, Oscar-Claude Monet and Jackson Pollock.

Founded by art historian Marc Restellini, the space will have three galleries with both permanent exhibitions showing rare art pieces and a rotating gallery showing classic and contemporary art. There's also the Heritage Gallery that pays homages to the historic Fort Canning grounds and is a retrospective on Singapore's culture through the centuries.

On top of that, the space will also house a couple of F&B concepts, including Maison Ikkoku's new cocktail-pairing restaurant, Fort.

The largest gallery, The Features, will debut with an exhibition on The Myth of Cleopatra. It'll be on show until Oct 11. Tickets start at $11 and go up to $28. Head to their website for more info.
