Buddy Beer Wine Bar & Seafood Restaurant 

Nestled on a quiet little alley off the hectic Khao San Road, this seafood restaurant set in the charming Thai-style teak house serves Thai dishes and seafood together with draught beer. Choose between the semi indoor seats or the spacious outdoor balcony with views of the neighboring colonial-style building.    

Oktoberfest special: Happy Hour runs all day and night with special prices on draught Singha.

Set in an exquisite old teak house built back in the 1900s, Hemingway’s Garden Bar & Restaurant offers a lush, colonial escape in the heart of downtown Bangkok. The all-in-one drinking and dining venue serves Caribbean-influenced cuisine along with flavorful classic cocktails and a variety of beers on tap.

Oktoberfest special: Expect daily Happy Hours until 8pm. Mon-Tue gets extended until 10pm, offering Singha draught at B100/pint.

Run by the Smiling Mad Dog beer importers (Brewdog and Brothers cider), Beerosophy at Mega Bangna is one of the most serious beer bars in Bangkok, offering imported bottles from all over the world.

Drunken Leprechaun

After saying goodbye to modern Irish bar BeerVault (and hello to Bangkok's first Hooters), Fourpoints by Sheraton went down a more traditional route with the Drunken Leprechaun. This new establishment focuses on beer-friendly European dishes and standard imported beers on tap.   

Oktoberfest special: Discounts all night on German dishes like the grilled sausage platter, crispy pork knuckle and pretzel, and barious drinks. Through Oct 31.

This young branch from the Novotel chain takes its beer garden seriously. The lounge offers snacks and all-day dining on Thai and international food along with imported beer on tap.

Oktoberfest special: The bar offers a German Combo featuring a bottle of beer and sausage platter (served with sauerkraut, mashed potato, Dijon mustard and gravy sauce) at B440 net. Through Oct 31.

Lobby Bar at Rembrandt

You might be familiar with Mexican restaurant Senor Pico and Indian restaurant Rang Mahal at Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok, but if you’re looking for some pre- or after-dinner drinks, then Lobby Bar is the place to head, offering a laidback setting with cocktails and draught beer.
