“The most creative drink I’ve had is at Ku Bar. I love their Banana drink (B380). It’s a mix of Maajaidum [Chiang Mai’s banana white spirit] infused with dehydrated banana, fernet, cynar, sweet vermouth and angostura bitters.”

 

 

 

 

“The Wild Honey menu at Asia Today is superb! I love their natural ingredients and the backstory of how Niks [Anuman Rajadhon] and the team found those ingredients, how they went hiking, trekking to find something that I have never heard of before.”

 

 

 

 

“The most creative drink I’ve seen in Bangkok recently is the Old Fashioned Ox Bile (B550) at Rarb. It’s a twist on the Bourbon Old Fashioned and uses and ox bile instead of angostura bitters, along with sugar and orange peel.”

 

 

 

 

“The milk punch, Tropicopop (B390), at Tropic City. I love the complexity of it. I like when cocktails don’t give away anything in terms of colors or glassware. Minimalism is awesome!”

 

 

 

 

“This Feel the Field (B450) cocktail by Kitibordee “Gov” Chortubtim at Backstage is really creative. It’s made by using only rice as the main ingredient. First, there is boiled rice water, sweetened with rice wine infused with insects and acidity from rice vinegar.”
