The Suk 11 exodus continues. Visit now before it's too late.

Sukhumvit Soi 11's Mexican institution Charley Brown's Mexicana is on the move after 13 years.

As reported mid-2016, the one-rai parcel of land opposite Villa Market at the beginning of Sukhumvit Soi 11 has been sold with all the restaurants and bars on the strip ordered to move out by Mar 31, 2017.

While a quick survey of the area reveals several venues have already shut down (namely The Alchemist, Snapper and Moghul), Charley Brown's will continue its operations here until Mar 19, before opening at a new spot on Sukhumvit Soi 19 on Mar 24.

The bigger and better Charley Brown's will be located on the ground floor of the iCheck Inn Hotel on Soi 19's first sub soi on the left, just behind Robinson. Though limited to just the one (spacious) floor, the new spot will mimic the current two-story premises with all the same decorations carried over.

Around for more than two decades, Charley Brown's moved to Sukhumvit Soi 11 from Town in Town in 2004.

Once settled at its new location, the restaurant plans to eventually open for breakfast, too.

As of Mar 24, find Charley Brown's at G/F, iCheck Inn Hotel, 19/9-10 Sukhumvit Soi 19, 02-651-2215. Open Mon 5pm-midnight; Tue-Sun noon-midnight
