pairing ice cream with natural wines daily until Jan 22, from 5-11pm.
Gone are the days where wine was for the fancy and the festive, here they’re trying to change perceptions about wine to make it casual.
The ice cream is by the team at Roast and the flavors are fun, like pear and blue cheese; strawberry, honey, and balsamic black pepper; fig leaf; and tomato water and olive oil sorbet.
You can start by choosing the ice cream flavor and there’ll be a glass of wine chosen to go with the dessert. A scoop of strawberry, honey, and balsamic black pepper, for instance, is paired with the medium-body with cherry and black currant taste of Bodegas Vegalfaro Rebelia, 2020, from Spain.
A scoop of ice cream is B100, and a glass of wine is B300—or pair them with B380.
