Future Music Festival: music worth traveling for
The Prodigy, Armin van Buuren, Rita Ora and more mean it's high time to get back to KL
If the music lineup in Singapore through the start of next year just isn't enough for you (and remember, we're talking Laneway, Big Night Out, Bloc Party, Swedish House Mafia and more), then you'll want to start planning a trip to Kuala Lumpur for the Future Music Festival.
Still flying under the radar outside of Malaysia, this overseas edition of the Aussie music event (rather like Laneway and BNO) attracts some seriously big names. Already confirmed for the 2013 edition, taking place from 15-16 March, are The Prodigy, Armin Van Buuren (as part of his State of Trance world tour), Bloc Party, Rita Ora and (of course) Psy. Just a shame it kicks off on a Friday.
Conveniently located by Sepang International Circuit, the Concorde Inn Kuala Lumpur International Airport is a convenient place to stay while in town. The hotel is offering a Stopover Package through April 15 starting at RM231 (S$93) including airport transfers and late checkout till 6pm.
