Just in time for the 2016 edition of Diageo World Class Thailand, which just kicked off its first round, two of the global competition's alumni come to town for three nights of guest bartending at three of Bangkok's best bars.

Japanese bartenders Michito Kaneko and Manabu Ohtake are the winners of Diageo Reserve World Class bartender of the year in 2015 and 2011, respectively.

Both are known for taking their inspiration from Japanese traditional highball-style cocktails, which are currently trending worldwide.

The special guest bartenders kick off their tour tonight, Feb 3, at Thonglor's Smith before moving to Sathorn's Vogue Lounge on Feb 4 and Ratchadamri's St. Regis Bar on Feb 5.
