Classic café by day, clubber’s paradise by night, Café Democ has long had a reputation as the spiritual home for electronic and house music in Bangkok. But this month, it will leave its original location at the corner of the Democracy Monument for a new home at the Silom Plaza building (491 Silom Rd). For one final enduring memory, head along to either the Evolver or A Decade of Bass events this weekend. The new venue will launch next week with a gig from The Standards as part of their Popscene Live night.
