Sukhumvit Soi 26's urban water park slash live music bar Flow House will close its doors this month.

In a Facebook post this afternoon, the venue's owners say, “After 4 years of bringing the beach to Bangkok, we sadly announce that financial difficulties have forced us to close down business.”

According to the post, Flow House's final day will be on Nov 27 and there will be no refunds for the club's members. Instead, "FlowCard" holders are advised to share their remaining hours with friends and take advantage of other special promotions.

While its FlowRider wave machine and plunge pool made Flow House a popular inner-city beach escape, it also built a reputation as a unique place to catch live music and DJs.

The venue's closure follows that of many other popular live music venues this year, including Moose, Overground, Hemingway's and Bangkok Betty. They will all be missed.
