Bangkok's Iron Balls Gin just earned the title of Best Gin under the innovation category at the Cocktails & Spirits Fair in Paris announced this past weekend (May 26-27).

Cocktails & Spirits Paris has been thriving for over 11 years, traveling internationally alongside the best bartenders from France to discover one-of-a-kind spirits. Each year Cocktails & Spirits grants 12 distinct liquors an award underneath the innovation category.

Iron Balls Gin triumphed against a total of 12 gin competitors from around the globe, beating out the likes of Apostoles Gin from Argentina and Husk Distillers' Ink Gin originating from Australia.

Iron Balls Gin is the brainchild of Ashley Sutton, the man originallly behind playful Bangkok nightlife names like Iron Fairies and Maggie Choo’s, and the owner of Iron Balls Bar. The gin is a fusion of coconut water and various fruits infused within a mixture of coriander, lemongrass, ginger, and imported juniper berries.

You can get your hands on Iron Balls Gin straight from their two branches of Iron Balls Bar (Ekkamai or Phrom Phong) where you can also try some cocktails made from it (prices starting at B360).
