Some of the faces will be familiar if you’ve been on the Bangkok event scene over the past year.

If you’ve been to any big events around town over the past year or more, or are heading to the highly anticipated Chilli Fest at Kimpton Maa-Lai this weekend, you’ve probably seen a familiar scene: the Aperol Thailand bartending team shaking and stirring cocktails and guests holding big goblets of Aperol Spritz.

The brand has been on a mission to expand its presence in Thailand for a while now, aiming to educate both bartenders and the masses about Italian aperitivo culture. Adding to this, Aperol recently announced its codified line up of ambassadors for Thailand, and there are a few familiar faces on the roster if you’ve been out and about over the past year.

Leading the charge is Thanamon “Still” Suthon, Campari Brand Ambassador for Thailand, who cut his teeth at top hotels like W Bangkok and Waldorf Astoria in the past. Focusing on brand growth in Bangkok, Hua Hin, and Pattaya will be Pattaraporn “Meii” Chata, who brings a decade of experience in the bar scene with her. In Phuket, which is booming in terms of F&B as of late, Jasumin “Bow” Chotithong will be a familiar face on the island’s cocktail and events scene. Finally, Saringkarn “Boss” Paisil will oversee most of the core southern markets, Phuket, Krabi, Phang Nga, and Samui, and implement training and activation campaigns.

The weather is hot outside, and it seems like a lot of us are going to be drinking Aperol Spritzes as the heat turns up this April.
