The Aussie electronic act released one of the '00s most influential albums.

Aussie electronic music outfit The Avalanches will play a DJ set in Bangkok this Mar 31

The duo of Robbie Chater and Tony Di Blasi will apply their anything-goes approach to DJing as part of a self-proclaimed Full Moon party at Central Embassy's fifth-floor Siwilai City Club. Ticket details are still TBA.

The group are best known for their 2000 album Since I Left You, a patchwork of reportedly more than 3,500 vinyl samples that spawned hits like the title track and "Frontier Psychiatrist." Combining everything from long-forgotten R&B samples to neo-psychedelic sounds to golf instructionals, the album is regularly cited as one of the most influential releases of the '00s.

It was a feat they struggled to follow up until 2016's Wildflower, which bore indie hits like "Because I'm Me" and collaborations with Kevin Parker of Tame Impala, Danny Brown and Ariel Pink.

Listen to "Because I'm Me" and "Since I Left You" below.
