You have one week only to catch 'T2 Trainspotting' in Bangkok
Better late than never.
Film fanatics will finally get the chance to catch Danny Boyle's 2016 cult film T2 Trainspotting this Jun 1-7 when it is screened at independent cinema House RCA (3/F, RCA Plaza, 31/8 Petchaburi Rd.) for just seven days.
Tickets are priced at B140 (B100 for students), with advance bookings available today at the cinema counter or by calling 02-641-5177.
The film was originally slated to screen in mainstream cinemas back in March but it was quietly pulled by Sony Pictures Thailand without further explanation, causing fans to start an online petition on change.org which went on to get some 800 signatures.
T2 Trainspotting is the long-awaited sequel to the popular 1996 film Trainspotting, directed by Danny Boyle and starring Ewan McGregor. Now, the original cast have reunited to follow the story of heroin addict Mark after 20 years abroad as he returns to Scotland to reunite with his friends, packed with self-referential nods to the much loved original film.
With demand high, we'd suggest booking those tickets quickly. For now, check out the trailer below:
