This art exhibition brings together some huge names in art and photography for a good cause
Vogue Hope At Siam Center has swag you’ll actually want to wear, and a portion of the proceeds go to charity
Siam Center and Vogue Thailand have joined in an art-fueled collaboration for charity until Sep 10. The event, titled “Vogue Hope At Siam Center”, brings together five photographers and 12 visual artists to create specially-designed prints, other exclusive goodies and a couple of activities, and part of the proceeds will go to support the Debaratana Vejjanukula Foundation. You’ll find the event happening in Siam Center’s Atrium 1 on the ground floor.
The artist list has some heavy hitters on it too. This isn’t a complete list, but some names that stand out to us include Alex Face, Gongkan, Bloody Hell Big Head (BHBH), Julie Baker and Summer, and Yoon Phannapast (of Gucci fame). Photographers include Nat Prakobsantisuk and Tada Varich. Both artists and photographers will be showcasing work that embodies ideas of “hope” to them, and the event in a larger context aims to signal a beacon of hope during these hard times.
Five of the artists — Gongkan, Juli Baker and Summer, Yoon Phannapast, Jirayi Koo and O Terawat — will also be showcasing images that fans can have turned into T-shirts made with recycled thread or on tote bags. There’s also going to be some limited-edition face masks from Greyhound Original. You don’t have to buy them, though. If you want one of those aforementioned goodies, you can also make a B199 donation to the Debaratana Vejjanukula Foundation.
