Getting a passport done at Khlong Toei MRT used to be the spot for those who live in the city center. It’s the fastest, most efficient of all the options—and with hardly any queues. Sadly, that’s going to be gone from Feb 25, according to the deputy spokesperson from the prime minister’s office.
Today (Feb 22) is the last day the office will accept any applications and documents, and those will be returned on Feb 24.
The Khlong Toei MRT Legalization Office will be closed in order to move to a new spot at the MBK Center near the National Stadium BTS station, and it will be fully open from Mar 1 onwards.
The new Passport and Legalization Services office will be bigger and able to service more visitors, both Thai and expat, and it can be found on the 5th floor, Zone A (5A-12, 5A-13). Online bookings via
