Watch this touching short doc about a Singapore ex-con who lives under a bridge
Guess what he does for a living.
Screened at the 2013 Singapore Indie Documentary Fest, this short film by Sabrina Poon just became available on Vidsee and is one to watch. In it, ex-convict Ruslan, after being released from Pertapis Halfway House, decided to clean up a bridge, live beneath it and spend his days as a fisherman.
His life as a fisherman seems pretty inspiring, but the film reveals some hard truths about his past and tackles the way ex-offenders are treated after they re-enter society.
