What shows will we have access to, and how uncut will they remain?

A few weeks ago, we wrote about how Netflix was coming to Singapore, but our excitement was dampened by the fact that the content will be "curated" in accordance with MDA guidelines. More recently, news has hit the streets that the monthly subscription for Netflix in Singapore will be US$8 (or $11 per month). Not bad, but will the content be worth it?

According to The Straits Times, Netflix chief communications officer Jonathan Friedland said that he's in talks, but he "[doesn't] have the details."

We will have access to shows Netflix has global licensing rights to, like Jane The Virgin, Zoo and How To Get Away With Murder. But shows like Daredevil and crime series Narcos have yet to get the green light. It is also uncertain if Netflix-created shows like Orange Is The New Black and House of Cards will be avilable, too. Another post from CNA also states that Netflix will have a larger selection of Korean, Cantonese and Mandarin dramas, but names haven't been disclosed yet. Joy!

But all of that's to say nothing of whether episodes from our favorite shows (like OITB, for example) will run completely uncut.
