While the BMA is busy trying to figure out what it could possibly use its B1.2 billion unfinished futsal stadium for (to be completed April 2013, according to recent reports), The Environment Department is asking that we refocus our attention on a more pressing issue. Bangkok is producing way too much trash—800 tons more per day compared to the same period last year, according to the Thailand News Bureau. The department urged Bangkokians to start sorting their trash to speed up collection. Um… sure, but doesn’t the BMA need to actually organize the collection of the sorted trash to avoid it getting all mixed up in the same garbage truck at the end of the day?
