Southeast Asia’s first Topgolf is opening in Megacity near Mega Bangna shopping mall in Samut Prakan on Aug 17.

The sports and entertainment venue, Topgolf Megacity, is located in the outskirts of Bangkok and will feature 102 golf hitting bays, a “golf academy.” There will also be a putting area as well as a rooftop bar, casual diner, and a wine and whisky-stocked lounge.

Players can use real golf clubs to score points by hitting microchipped golf balls at 11 giant in-ground targets on the 205-yard field. They can also play a wide selection of games, including classic Topgolf games, a virtual Angry Birds game, Jewel Jam, and virtual golf courses.

Drinks will be served at the rooftop’s Pink Giraffe, all-day dining will be served at The Patio, and serious drinkers can head to the Devil’s Lounge.

Guests can already book tee times, events and golf lessons. Games are priced from B850-1,450 by the hour per bay. Each bay can accommodate up to six players. New players must pay a one-time membership fee of B150. This includes unlimited balls, game analyses, and use of Topgolf clubs.

Topgolf currently operates 70 venues in five countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai). With the Bangkok branch being the first in Southeast Asia, Topgolf developer TG SEA Development says that it intends to build other branches across the region, including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam.
