Singapore is going to have a new Armenian museum next year
Adding to the already great selection of community museums in town.
Fans of the Peranakan Museum, Baba House, Malay Heritage Centre and other cozy little community museum spaces, you'll soon have something new to look forward to.
The very pretty Armenian Apostolic Church of St Gregory The Illuminator on Hill Street, the city's oldest, is going to get a museum next year, The Straits Times reported this week. Next year, the 110 year old house opposite it will house a museum celebrating the Armenian community in Singapore through literary works, religious relics and maps.
The staff are also accepting donations, and enquiries can be made here.
