Gig promoter Have You Heard?, for so long synonymous with twee, jangly indie-pop, is branching out into more experimental-yet-danceable territory.

As the name hints, sister label HUH? promises more left-field sounds. In their own words: "A collection of unique synthetic sounds that express shades of such genres from r&b to jazz, reggae to avant-garde or even hip-hop to house and up all the way towards experimental club music."

The fun kicks off tomorrow night (Apr 24) at De Commune with French avant-dance producer Coucou Chloe joined by locals DJ Praewapower and underrated electro act Cut the Crab—tickets are free if you follow the registration process over at www.fb.com/HUHBKK.

Next up on May 5 is English multi-instrumentalist Hugo Manuel, aka Chad Valley, known for his pop experiments that nod to ‘80s synth and Balearic influences. Catch him at new hipster dive NOMA (21/66 RCA Block C, Rama 9 Rd.) with tickets going for B600 each via Ticketmelon.com.
