Come peak hour, taxis are an anomaly especially if you're stranded in the Central Business District (CBD). But new ride-sharing app Pair Taxi promises to change things by helping you find up to three commuters who are heading in similar destinations. All you have to do is to choose a pick-up location from 20 taxi stands within the area and they will match you with like-minded strangers from the same pick-up point. The app also helps split the fare among your new buddies, which as we all know, can be a pain. Pair Taxi will be available to Apple and Android users from the next two or three months. Details are a little hazy at the moment, but we'll keep you updated.
