You know the drill. Every year, Surawong’s Neilson Hays Library hosts several second hand book sales. For their first go in 2024, the event will be back on May 11-19, 9:30am-5pm—closed on Monday, May 13.

 

Just in case you didn’t get your fill at the Bangkok International Book Fair, which just closed in early April, here is a chance to stack up your TBR (to be read) pile with Neilson Hays’ rare treasures. 

 

Their collections are selected from both the library's shelves and taken from donated items. Inside the fair, you’ll find philosophy guides, murder mysteries, history, art, and children’s books in Thai and English.

 

For the nostalgic souls, the library is alsos offering CDs and DVDs with the starting price of B20.

 

All proceeds will go back to fund the library’s art and cultural program and the maintenance of its over 150-year-old historic building.
