Dream Academy's new venture, The Henderson Project, aims to provide a theater experience that is different from the norm.

Local production company Dream Academy has embarked on a new venture, called The Henderson Project, in a bid to create Singapore's answer to "off-Broadway" and "off-West-End" productions.

The team has transformed its studio space at Henderson Industrial Park (incidentally, just a stone's throw away from I-S's own office) into a cozy and intimate black box, complete with a bar area, so audience members can enjoy some drinks during the show.

The project will kick off with two productions, The Last Five Years and Happy Robin. If you're tired of glitzy, overhyped stage extravaganzas and just want to enjoy an immersive, no-frills theater experience, this project will be right up your alley.
