Malaysian-born taxi application Grab Taxi has launched its motorcycle taxi option, Grab Bike, in Bangkok.

The on-demand motorcycle service for people and parcels has already launched in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Jakarta, and claims to provide insurance up to B2,000 with all drivers’ backgrounds throuroughly checked. 

If you've already downloaed GrabTaxi, this add-on will appear after updating the app. The process is pretty much the same as the taxi service, allowing you to select pick-up and drop-off locations and book a driver. The estimated fare will appear on screen and driver location is also tracked real-time. Prices start from B35 per ride.
