Your commute might get a lot more interesting next week.

It’s a big week for In-N-Out and Guns n’ Roses fans, but next week is for fans of 21-member inter-governmental forums. APEC descends on downtown Bangkok from November 16-19, and roads will be closed by authorities throughout the proceedings.

Most road closures will be confined to the times between 6pm and 6am, and six shuttles will provide transport for those in affected areas from Wednesday to Saturday. The 24-hour road closures affect Ratchadapisek Road from Asoke Montri to Rama IV intersection and Duang Phitak Road.

Ploenchit from the expressway to Ratchaprasong, Wireless Road from Ploenchit to Sarasin, Ratchadamri from Ratchaprasong to Ratchadamri, Soi Tonson, and Soi Ruamrudee will all be closed to traffic from 6pm to 6am.

In addition to the roads, the Benjakitti Park entrance on Ratchadapisek Road will be closed from November 12-19, and Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre MRT station will be closed from November 16-19. Citydwellers and tourists are also reminded not to fly drones in Bangkok from 16-21.

Update: The Asoke intersection to Ratchada-Khlong Toey intersection will be closed from Nov 14-19.
