After a long wait, the B200-million Disney100 Village project at Asiatique finally opened its doors last week, offering a glimpse of its Mickey and Minnie magic, from Frozen and Star Wars to Marvel’s cinematic universe—all running until Jul 31. 
 
The Disney100 Village takes visitors on a journey through over 100 years of its beloved characters, with free access zones, including the Disney100 Express Train showcasing an array of Disney characters around the clock towers and booth area. At the entrance, there are three-meter high statues of Minnie and Mickey Mouse in traditional Thai attire. 
 
Among the free attractions is the Star Wars Experience, featuring a gigantic TIE Fighter, AT-M6 vehicles, and even a flight simulator area.
 
In case you want out of the summer heat, head to paid access zones like the Marvel Universe, a comprehensive Marvel experience space featuring comic books, popular characters, and interactive experiences; try out Thor’s hammer or stepping through the sling ring with Doctor Strange. 
 
There is also aFrozen Exhibition inspired by classic scenes from two Frozen films through interactive augmented reality technology and life-sized statues of fans’ favorite characters. 
 
All zone ticket prices start at B1,419 for adults and B1,279 for kids and students on weekdays,  B1,719 and 1,549 on weekends.
