With its new space on Sukhumvit, decor brand Casa Pagoda (Corner of Sukhumvit Rd., and Sukhumvit Soi 45, 02-258-1917. Open daily 11am-8pm.) is giving off a new vibe. Their style is still retro, playfully bourgeois: plump couches a la Française with distressed wood (B19,900), vintage glass soda water dispensers (from B4,600), plastic babies recast in solid aluminum (B2,100) and hemp rugs with giant baroque prints (from B12,500). But while the original shop in Ozono evoked carefully decorated condo units, the new 600 sq meter space has us dreaming of entire homes filled with pop paintings, secret liquor cabinets and giant metal globes studded with tiny beads.
