From
Jul 29-Sep 18, the
Crystal Walk exhibition will be bringing over 20 natural crystal formations to the third floor of riverside gallery
River City Bangkok.
Having spent more than 15 years collecting crystal specimens from across the world—USA, France, Peru, Brazil, Uruguay, Indonesia and India—Robert McLeod, geologist and owner of
Agata Fine Crystals Gallery, will put some of his most interesting pieces on display. Those include gogottes, strikingly shaped objects formed around 30,000 to 50,000 years ago by a complex process of freezing, weathering and thawing. Also expect to see other eye-catching specimens estimated to be 30,000 to 200 million years old. In the meantime, you can explore the gallery virtually
here.
3/F, River City Bangkok, 23 Charoenkrung Soi 24, 02-237-0077. Open Mon-Fri 11am-8pm; Sat-Sun 10am-8pm. Free
