The sleek W Retreat Koh Samui (07-791-5999, www.wretreatkohsamui.com) will throw a huge launch party this Feb 26 at Woobar, in celebration of its new on-site music curator, New York DJ/producer Kelly Kellam.

 

For the occasion, French mixologist Leo Lottier will create a new cocktail named The Kellam, and one-Michelin-star chef Laurent Peugeot will prepare French/Japanese fusion nibbles, available from 6-8pm.

 

An international DJ lineup, comprising DJs David Soul, Benoit Clerc, Graham Gold and the new music curator himself, will spin tunes from 4pm through midnight. Free entry before 6pm and B500 thereafter.

 

All the villas are booked out for the weekend, but if you’re looking to stay another time, prices start from B32,000, with breakfast included.
