Want to get away over the weekend, but don't quite know where to head to? Changi Airport Group has just launched a refreshed Weekend Escapades mobile app that offers uses travel tips on destinations within a six-hour flight radius from Singapore—expect popular cities like Hong Kong and Bangkok, as well as (relatively) more obscure locations like Danang and Wuhan. There's information on 52 destinations in total, so there's essentially a different getaway for every single week of the year. 

Besides a truckload of travel info (provided by travel guide book series Insight Guides), the revamped app also boasts functions like sharing, bookmarking, rating and searching by interest. Moreover, you can also browse flights and the latest airline promotions. Plus, there's also a ready-to-use itinerary offered for each city—perfect for those who hate doing the legwork for their trips (though that's supposed to be part of the fun!). 

The free app is available for download at both the Apple iTunes and Android app stores. In conjunction with the relaunch of the app, there'll be a weekly "Win a Weekend Escapade" contest, where four winners will snag a pair of tickets to four different destinations. Simply download the app and find a hidden luggage icon using the clues provided—this will qualify you for the weekly draw. One winner will be selected each week from July 14 to August 10.
