Bangkok's popular Sukhumvit Soi 15 shopping district has just welcomed another new hotel—this time, it's the U Sukhumvit Bangkok. 

The contemporary 82-room hotel was designed by Danish-based Evaristti Studios. Expect lots of muted tones with pops of color, as well as some traditional touches—all rooms feature local design elements from one of four different regions in Thailand. There's also a themed all-day dining restaurant, rooftop swimming pool, fitness center and business center. 

Other notable features of the hotel include its unique 24-hour policy—all guests get to enjoy their room for 24 hours, no matter their check-in time. Plus, there's free wi-fi throughout the hotel, so you'll constantly be plugged in. 

The best part, though? The hotel's having an special "20 Day Sale" (book by March 31), with rates starting from as low as THB1499 (S$59) a night for a superior room, complete with breakfast for two persons. Otherwise, introductory rates start from THB1999 (S$78) a night. That's insane, if you ask us. Despite the ongoing political protests, it seems like there's no better time than now to visit The Land of Smiles.
