Don't worry, the hi-so stuff is on offer, too: pan-fried foie gras, classic seafood paella, suckling pig, sushi, sashimi and homemade crepes with ice cream. Price is B1,700 per person, which includes a bottle of Chandon for two people.

The stylish Oceanside Beach Club & Restaurant (032-531-470, www.oceansidebeachclub.com) offers a BBQ Brunch deal featuring honey glazed ham, sushi, seafood (including oyster, crab, prawns), a prime meat BBQ and a Thai-style BBQ. There’s a live band playing bossanova (ugh) and easy-listening music as background but the price is easy, too, B1,300 per person, which includes free flow of wine, sparkling wine and soft drinks.

Set in an elegant Thai pavilion by the beach, McFarland House restaurant (032-521-234, www.huahin.regency.hyatt.com) near Hua Hin’s Khao Takiab offers a Sunday brunch buffet featuring classic items like fresh seafood, hot dishes, local specialties and desserts. Prices are B1,500 per person, including a bottle of sparkling wine per two persons or B1,300 per person, including homemade lemonade and iced tea. There’s a live acoustic band and youu can also relax there throughout the day, using the resort’s facilities such as the fitness center and the pools either before or after brunch.
