Here comes the weekend! To celebrate, three hip bars are rolling out exclusive cocktails and home-infused liquors. 

Barka

Run by the team behind Aran Bicicletta, this new spot in Ari is not only an easy-going drink and dine spot, but it also puts a lot of passion into creating some pretty potent cocktails. This weekend, the bar will have three new infused spirits for guest to try out: gin infused with Waydhana-dried Chinese plum and Jolly Bear; vodka infused with kiwi, orange and Jolly Cola; and whisky infused with palo powder (Chinese spice). All start from B250. Available from Sat Feb 22 while stocks last.

Escapade Burgers and Shakes

The hip burgers and shakes joint on Phra Athit Road is now adding even more excitement by rolling out new shakes on a daily basis. On the alcohol side of things, this week mixologist Karn Liangsrisuk is drawing inspiration from the dish pla nueng buay (steamed fish with Chinese plum sauce) with a special infusion called Escapade Moonshine No.6. The ingredients include cayenne pepper, ginger, coriander, dried plum, vodka and Japanese plum wine, served as a vodka tonic for B350. Another new brand of vodka has also arrived this week, Reyka from Iceland, served on the rocks for B450. Available from Fri Feb 21 whilestocks last. 

Junker and Bar

Mixologist Bard Passapong of Junker and Bar keeps updating his shelves with new booze everytime he travels, which is apparently on a monthly basis. This week's new arrivals is Jim Beam Small Batch which he’ll serve on the rocks with just splash of orange oil (B300). Another special is the apple-flavored William Chase Gin served with drop of apple juice and tonic water or grape gooseberry with tonic water for B320. Other new drops to try are St. Germain (French liqueur flavored with elderflower, B320) and Monkey Shoulder gin (B320). All are available now while stocks last.
