The world's most famous LGBTQI celebration, Sydney Mardi Gras, is back from February 9 to March 2 with a packed schedule of vibrant parties and cultural events.
The three-week long celebration will feature free and ticketed parties, including a pool party and sunset cruise, theater and musical performances, film screenings, visual art exhibitions and the iconic Mardi Gras parade, which will take place on March 1; all encompassed in this year's theme 'kaleidoscope'. Co-Chair Siri Kommedahl says: "The kaleidoscope concept reflects notions of diversity and difference, which the festival has become synonymous with since its inception 36 years ago."
