The new travel site eOasia recently launched, making it easier for travelers to book activities directly with the suppliers.

Founded by a group of friends and avid travelers eOasia, a site that focuses on activities in Asian destinations, was recently launched with the ethos of cutting out time spent trawling the internet and the cost of booking excursions through travel agents.

By using the site, travelers can find activities and excursions in destinations around Asia, compare each one's cost and book directly through the supplier at the same price as buying on-the-ground.

Activities have been compiled over the past two years, as the site's founders have traveled around Asia, seeking out the best activities and meeting the most reliable suppliers in person. This collaborative effort has resulted in a portfolio of over 1000 activities in 12 countries across Asia.

With cooking classes in Bangkok, diving in the Philippines, surf lessons and horse riding in Bali, pub crawls in Hong Kong and volunteering on an elephant camp in Thailand, there's something to suit each type of traveler.

The founders continue to travel in the name of expanding the site's content. In 2014 Myanmar, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka are all slated to be added to the growing list of destinations.
