Bangkok Airways (www.bangkokair.com) is welcoming the cool season, with an additional flight from Chiang Mai to Bangkok, taking the total up to six flights a day. In more good news for domestic travelers, the airline will also launch a daily direct flight from Samui to Chiang Mai. Both new services will start on Dec 1, with prices starting from around B2,250 for the Bangkok-Chiang Mai flight and B6,890 for the Samui-Chiang Mai route.
