Raffles Hotels & Resorts’ China retreat Raffles Hainan (Clearwater Bay Avenue, Yingzhou Town, Lingshui County) is set to open September.

This is the second property in China for the hospitality group. Set at Clearwater Bay, the new hotspot on the southeast coast of Hainan Island will have two championship golf courses (designed by US-based Schmidt-Curley Design) a luxury retail-cinema complex, yacht clubs and a 780-berth marina for sailing and water sports.

The project will also have 299 rooms and 32 villas, all with private balconies and clear views of the ocean or golf course. Plus, there’ll be an expansive Raffles Spa offering both Asian and Western treatments, seven restaurants and bars, and a branch of the Long Bar.
