New bakery Cake Spade is now open at the Orchid Hotel in Tanjong Pagar.

The place specializes in sweets like strawberry peach tofu cheesecake ($5.50/slice, $49/whole), spiced carrot cake ($5.90/slice, $52/whole) and red velvet cake ($5.90/slice, $52/whole) care of owner-baker Zenn Eng, who trained at local culinary academy At-Sunrice. They also carry cupcakes ($3.80) in flavors like sea salt and caramel, lemon and chocolate.
