New farmers' market PasarBella set to open at The Grandstand in March
PasarBella, a new farmers' market in Singapore inspired by places like New York's Chelsea Market and Melbourne's Queen Victoria Market, is set to open at The Grandstand in March.
New farmers' market PasarBella—a project by 23-year-old Clovis Lim and Vincent Howe, 35—is set to open at The Grandstand in March.
Inspired by places like New York's Chelsea Market, Seattle's Pike Place Market, London’s Covent Garden, Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Market and Mercat de Sant Josep de la Boqueria in Barcelona, Singapore's very own farmers market will have more than 70 stalls offering meat, seafood, produce, artisanal charcuterie and desserts, plus a comprehensive selection of organic products.
There will also be neatly sectioned-off areas for specialist products such as The Thirsty Traveler, a corner with alcoholic beverages displayed on custom-made wooden racks alongside wine-friendly foods like fine cheeses.
For simple meals, customers can expect a deli and boulangerie section, modeled after Parisian alfresco cafés, where diners can grab simple sandwiches and coffee.
Look out for more updates at the PasarBella website or Facebook page.
