Chateau Tcc houses two newly launched restaurants: Ki-sho and Buona Terra.

Two new eateries, Japanese restaurant Ki-sho and Italian establishment Buona Terra, have recently opened at Chateau Tcc along Scotts Road.

Located in a black-and-white colonial house, just a few doors down from cocktail bar Néktar and The Song of India, is Ki-sho, a fine dining, understated Japanese eatery that offers only three omakase set menus ($230, $280 or $330). Chef Hamamoto crafts multi-course meals focused on seasonal ingredients featured in an assortment of appetizers, sashimi, nigirizushi, a Hida Wagyu dish, miso soup and dessert. The two-story building holds a sushi bar counter that sits 10, and eight- and 12-seater private dining rooms decked out in pale wood and gold leaf wallpaper. There's also a sake room to lounge in as you enjoy your tipple of choice from a 50-strong collection of nihonshu.

Right next door is modern Italian restaurant Buona Terra, helmed by chef Denis Lucchi. Aside from the main dining area which sits 24 and a six-seater private dining room, you'll also find an Enomatic machine and about 150 wine labels imported from Italy (from $16/glass). Foodwise, look forward to dishes like sous vide cuttlefish “tagliatelle” with celery, melon and almond ($20), homemade tagliolini with crab meat, lemon and Italian oscietra caviar ($34) and slow-cooked Black Angus short ribs with polenta and capers ($40). They also offer a seven-course degustation menu for $138, and a seasonal set for $98.
