Great luxe hotel deals coinciding with the introduction of Beijing's new 72-hour visa-free stay policy from January 1.
Beijing will start a 72-hour visa-free stay policy for citizens of 45 countries—including Singapore as well as Japan and Brunei—from January 1, 2013.
The new allowance is only for transit visitors who can provide a confirmed air ticket or other travel documents for a third destination (departing the Chinese capital within three days).
Take advantage of the policy and stay at the Ritz-Carlton Beijing, which is offering an Inspiring Discoveries deal from January 1 to March 31, 2013 starting at RMB2,850 (S$554) including a complimentary night (stay four nights and pay for three), US$75 (S$91) of hotel/spa credit and limousine transfers to the Forbidden City.
Or go for the introductory package at the new Four Seasons Beijing available through February 28 with rates starting at RMB1,988 (S$386).
