With more than 400 publishers, Bangkok's 53rd National Book Fair kicked off yesterday, featuring millions of books and millions of visitors. Held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
The Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand has previously said that they expect 13 million visitors for the event and are looking forward to B430 million in revenue, running from Mar 27-Apr 7 in Halls 5-8.
Following last year’s record-breaking attendance, PUBAT has expanded the event, increasing the number of halls from three to four and the total exhibition space from 15,000 to 20,000 square metres to accommodate the growing number of visitors.
At the bibliophile event of the year, there will be more than two million books and 1,200 booths, around 100 activities, and 10 exhibitions.
The event opens at 10am and closes at 9pm. Visit
