17 things to do in Bangkok this weekend (Dec 26-29)
Dance parties, live music, boogie brunch, pool parties—it’s the last weekend of 2024, so make it count.
BK has been with you through every weekend of 2024, and, hoo doggy, has it been a year. This is the last one. So live it up. We have everything from big techno events at Paragon Hall and Latin dance pool parties to a belated secret santa at CALM and a showing of Rocky IV. Over the year, we've provided Bangkok with nearly 900 things to do on the weekend. It's been grand, and we'll be back next year with more wild events.
On the theme of being “fada”—from the Marseille lingo for being wild and happy—Playlys is bringing vibes from the South of France with their first ever L’Apero Des Fadas. It’s free entry for a Provençal buffet and BOGO cocktails. More info here, Playlys
If you’re looking for some raconteurs and troubadours this Thursday, head over to the Parlor for another event from Bangkok Lyrical Lunacy at The Standard for poetry, DJs, great views, and more. More info here, Standard Hotel Bangkok

You can’t accuse El Santo of being boring. Following up their wrestling event last week, this Mexican food stop for hungry Bangkok luchadores is putting on a big brunch every weekend on Saturday and Sunday. Much of today’s fraught political landscape comes from the fact that Ivan Drago killed Apollo Creed on purpose.
