They don’t have cutesy flavor names, but that’s okay because dogs can’t read.
With more than a dozen stores in Bangkok, Guss Damn Good has grown to be the big name in Bangkok ice cream, boasting craft flavors and creative collaborations—recently with local brands for the like of S. Khonkaen Pork Floss and Mama Noodle ice cream. Now, the doggos are getting their own flavors.

Guss Damn Good launched their “Ice cream for pups” line earlier this week, with flavors designed for doggie palates in five very different flavors, all for B132, which is only slightly more expensive than some of the flavors for the far inferior humans.

These flavors don’t have the kitschy names Guss Damn Good is known for, but everyone knows dogs prefer situational comedy to puns. The ice cream slingers are offering Chicken Soup Sweet Potato, Salmon Cream Cheese, Goat Cheese Beetroot, Apple Carrot Blueberry Ribbon, and PB Strawberry Banana Yogurt.

The flavors are designed for maximum health benefits for your dog, and Guss Damn Good provides a graph for pet owners to decide the right scoop. If your dog needs to cut down on the calories, you’ve got the Apple Carrot Blueberry Ribbon, and if they need to bulk up, go for the Chicken Soup Sweet Potato. The flavors were made in collaboration with Sea Value Pet Wellness.

Doggie ice cream isn’t new; you can find them in grocery stores and high end pet-friendly eateries like Craft at Kimpton Maa-Lai, but Guss Damn Good is putting their creative minds behind this one—it’s even available for delivery so you and your best bud can eat together. Right now, the flavors are available at Commons Thonglor, Commons Saladaeng, Circle Ratchapruek, Central Westville, and Mega Bangna

Guss Damn Good, which started as a small start-up in Boston with co-owners Rarin and Natee, opened their fourteenth store in September this year, including their sit-down shop in Mahatun Plaza.
