Choo Choo Hemp

Why you should go: Boasting over 150 strains from budget to premium, a chill lounge, and regular music events, Choo Choo Hemp is arguably the very best hemp shop in and around the Sukhumvit 49 area. Why you should go: With a California-born brand that wanted to become the “Apple Store of Cannabis,” MedMen is a pioneer in cannabis retail, and now they are creating a space that works with locally grown products and hospitality.  Sukhumvit’s MedMen prides itself on being a cannabis marketplace of sorts—not just a spot to score premium strains but a place for people to seek education on the local growing scene, delivery methods, and what product might be the right fit for you. Four Twenty 

Area: Thonglor, Phrom Phong, Asoke

In addition to high-end buds and a wide range of cannabis products, this brand has a cool rooftop hang near Asoke called High Garden. It’s 4/20 friendly (obviously), but it’s also a fun place to grab a lychee martini and enjoy the vibes and neon design. Catch this space for a little OG Kush and Sour Diesel, but don’t miss out on the DJ tunes and vibes. The space is also known for hosting a few visiting budtenders.

No Man’s Land

Having a wide variety of buds isn’t good enough anymore—so No Man’s Land made a shop that’s just as good for hanging out and gilling with some video and board games as it is for buying some weed. The Dispensary

It’s a massive superbrand you won’t have missed. The Dispensary’s chic Sukhumvit shop near the Phrom Phong BTS station has a “Hall of Flowers,” a grow room, and a wide selection unique from Taratera—which has been at the forefront of Thailand’s weed culture before decriminalization. From the outside, it looks more like an Apple Store than a weed shop.
