Belgium’s Tomorrowland, the biggest EDM festival in the world, will be held in Thailand starting in 2026—and it could be here for quite some time. Tomorrowland events in recent years have been known to sell as many as 400,000-600,000 tickets—often selling out in just one day. 

 

Thailand will become the first ASEAN country to host Tomorrowland, and it could be returning to Thailand for a decade, according to the organizer—part of a wider scheme to make Thailand a festival and event destination for tourists. Festival goers also got the recent happy news that  Japan’s Summer Sonic is coming to Muang Thong Thani on August 24 and 25.  

 

Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin sees hosting major music festivals as a ‘quick win’ for Thailand’s economy, and has recently been in conversations to bring events like the F1 (Formula One), Formula E, and Art Basel to the Land of Smiles. 

 

Tomorrowland is the most popular EDM festivals in the world, and a gig EDM artists only dream of playing. Since its debut in 2005, Tomorrowland has had spin-offs like TomorrowWorld in Atlanta, Tomorrowland in Brazil, and Tomorrowland Winter in France.

 

The festival is renowned for booking some of the biggest EDM, house, and techno artists from all over the world, accompanied by state of the art sets, dream-like scenery, fireworks, and laser shows.
