A German institution in the heart of Bangkok where untold schnitzel and pints have been pounded for four decades will say auf wiedersehen to its home on Sukhumvit Soi 20.
Tomorrow will be the last day Bei Otto is open in the Bavarian-style brewhouse complete with Tudor facade it opened nearly 40 years ago, the
restaurant announced this afternoon. Starting next week, those who love its on-brand pours of dark German lagers or deli’s authentic sauerkraut and meats will have to trek to its new location on Petchaburi Road.
The new Bei Otto opens Tuesday.
