Negroni Week at Kimpton Maa Lai

Not only is it a week-long celebration of one of the world’s great cocktails, Negroni Week is also an effort to raise money for charities. Hosted until Sep 20, you can have a few sips (or more) of special Negronis at Craft and Bar Yard. There will also be an introduction of Ms. Jigger, the hotel's latest bar, set to open on Oct 1.

Urban Dictionary Exhibition

Thai artist Piyakan “Mook” Bootprasert’s first solo exhibition is all about interpreting urban life via neon installations.

Panoramic, a photo and sound exhibition, is Greasy Cafe’s Apichai "Lek" Tragoolpadetgrai’s first solo exhibition. The photos displayed in this exhibition were taken from his journey in Oman, coupled by music that he made specially for this event.

Embracing Otherness, Exploring Muslims

Embracing Otherness, Exploring Muslims is a follow-up project of the Talk with Muslims series (TAMU) by the Japan Foundation Asia Center. The photo exhibition comprises two sets of photos by three photographers, sharing 65 pictures about the lives of Muslims in Thailand and Japan. Photographers Samak Kosem and Kalil Pitsuwan picked Chiang Mai as a place to tell their stories. Sato Kenei, a Japanese journalist, uses mass media to focus on Islam in Japan.

If you’re into all things eco-friendly, this event is for you. This eco-friendly, sustainable market aims to connect community members, encourage sustainable living by reducing, reusing, recycling and up-cycling, and promote clean air. Expect environmental workshops, local organic food and drinks, family-friendly activities, and face painting, among other activities. All proceeds raised on the day will be donated to local charities.
