POSTPONED: “Matilda The Musical” sweeps into Bangkok this May
Even if you’re little, you can do a lot.
UPDATE: On April 14, Live Nation BEC-Tero announced they will be postponing Matilda The Musical due to the coronavirus outbreak in Thailand. The organizer has stated that the new event date and further information will be revealed soon on ThaiTicketMajor.
“Matilda The Musical” is coming to Bangkok this May 14-24.
Roald Dahl’s timless story about bravery and standing up for yourself made its musical debut in England in 2010. Since then, the record-breaking production has won more than 100 international awards, including seven Olivier Awards in 2012—at the time, the most ever for a single show.
The musical tells the story of Matilda Wormwood, an intellectually precocious five-year-old girl, who lives in an abusive household and is picked on at school. Eventually, the young heroine discovers she has telekinetic powers and levels the playing field for her and others like her.
Tickets to the family-friendly show start from B1,500 via ThaiTicketMajor. Pre-sale runs from Feb 28-Mar 5 (only for Bangkok Bank credit card customers), and public sales start on Mar 6. Call 02-262-3838 or visit any Thai Ticket Major outlet for more information about tickets.
